PHOTOS | NATIONWhile President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nasa presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, are busy traversing the country in a bid to woo Kenyan voters, six other candidates have remained conspicuously ‘anonymous’. The ‘silent’ presidential candidates are Ekuru Aukot, Abduba Dida, Cyrus Jirongo, Japheth Kavinga, Micheal Wainaina and Joseph Nyaga. Even after being cleared by the Independent Boundaries and Electoral Commission (IEBC) to take a stab at the Presidential election, none of them has been ‘visible’ to the voter. Also apart from Aukot, none of the aforementioned candidates can be considered to have a “strong” social media presence, which has been identified as an alternative platform to woo the 18 million registered voters in Kenya.
