Thanksgiving – a time to take a pause and give thanks for all of life’s blessings; a time for family reunions and turkey dinners; a time to reconnect with loved ones. Interestingly, 24% of workers say they have to work through Thanksgiving (up from 22% last year), so they may not have a choice. And what about the fact that in Houston 44% said they will spend the holiday with co-workers? But when asked what their preference would be, 9 out of 10 workers report that they would rather spend the holiday with family. I don’t mean to suggest that spending Thanksgiving with co-workers is a bad thing.
