The JSE's All Share index ended Thursday 1.4% lower at 73 736 points. The hospital group Life Healthcare slumped more than 7% to R17.58 after it released annual results. Its profit fell almost 83% to R264 million, amid a R822 million hit from writedowns related to the sale of its UK diagnostics business Alliance Medical Group. Pick n Pay and the Property group Growthpoint lost more than 5%.
