The Acromegaly Registry 2013-2016 shows that only 129 acromegaly patients between 20 and 70 years old are registered and undergoing treatment in 12 government hospitals nationwide. She also shares her knowledge and personal experience with other acromegaly patients and caretakers by being an active member of the Malaysian Acromegaly Society (MyACRO). However, since it is a rare disorder, the tests are normally not cheap and not easily obtainable.
