One thing we do is that another young man has killed. The young man, Alek Minassian, was charged Tuesday morning with 10 counts of murder and 13 counts of attempted murder. Incels are “involuntarily celibate”; they are a hateful group of largely young men who put the blame on women for the men’s lack of sexual partners. As I’ve written before, these groups prey on the isolation and vulnerability of some young men. When a mass killing happens, youth and maleness are worth noting.
