The shirts were made by a company in Casper called 1890 Inc. — 1890 was the year Wyoming became a state — and we weren't the only ones who were impressed. The Wyoming Eclipse Festival, which coordinated and marketed the festivities in Casper, chose 1890 as its official apparel and gear manufacturer. The residents of Casper had been planning for the eclipse in their own way for several years. 1890 began selling eclipse T-shirts on his website in January, and its social media marketing reached customers from around the world.
