Terrance O’Malley knows a thing or two about the business of managing hedge funds. “The podcast will cover a whole range of issues confronting the professionals tasked with managing a firm,” O’Malley says. O’Malley also believes there is a dearth of guidance on managing an investment firm. To help fill this gap, O’Malley recently co-authored a book on the topic called The Insiders’ Guide to Hedge Funds: Successfully Managing the Middle and Back Office (Wolters Kluwer 2018). He also runs his own consulting firm to help firms better manage the operational side of the business.
