Credit: Ninja/Epic GamesThe other night, video game streaming went through what I think we'll one day look back on as a watershed moment. The winners here are clear: Ninja gains subscribers, Fortnite gains players, Drake stays about as beloved as ever and people remember that Kim Dotcom exists. The biggest winner of all, however, might be Twitch itself, and by extension Jeff Bezos and Amazon. Massachusetts congressional candidate and video game developer Brianna Wu understood this idea when she used Twitch to do some fundraising in November. I don't think this will be the last time we see celebrities getting into game streaming -- managers in LA no doubt perked up at the rush of news stories after Drinja happened.
