Every 10ish weeks, Fortnite: Battle Royale does a major reset, reshaping the map, adding in new vehicles and dropping another 100 tiers of battle pass to grind out through weekly challenges, daily challenges, and just plain old play. Season 8 is almost over, so if you haven't unlocked the Tier-100 Luxe skin yet, you might want to get grinding. Servers for Fortnite typically go down at 4:00 AM Eastern time when a new season starts. Every season comes with a theme, though they're usually pretty loose: Season 7 was winter, ice, and Christmas, while Season 8 was pirates with a touch of ninjas and dragons.
