Churchill loved Morocco. During his stay in the country in which he preferred to vacation, he wrote to his wife: «Fascinated by Marrakech. According to Hindley, “Casablanca was chosen as the conference location, also because the FDR wanted to visit American troops. And no mosquitos, »and Churchill wanted a sunny atmosphere like in Anfa, where he could enjoy a cigar. The British ambassador to Morocco wanted future generations to pull out of these historical events.
