Exciting economic policy tools can't resolve either problem. I've talked about the fact that I think it is going to cause an economic crash several times. My point is that the analysis of AI in economic terms remains naive. AI is becoming a source of serious systemic economic risk, is my point. Why is AI important enough for us to have to go through a recession, an economic crash, an increase in inequality, and the abuse of our planet?
