When ‘clean eating’ becomes ‘eating disorder’


Others, especially those following the “clean eating” diet, would say that what we don’t eat is even more important. The problem, though, is there’s no consensus as to which foods are “dirty” and which are “clean.” To some, “eating clean” means avoiding plant lectins or gluten. If you do all of those things at the same time, beware, your diet just may be too clean. Nor is this permission for us all to give up on healthy eating and indulge in processed foods.
