Not just that, if the original message contains a picture then the quoted message will also show a preview of the photo. The updated WhatsApp for these users will enable them to reply to a specific message and quote it while doing so. After selecting the reply option, which appears on long pressing a message, the original message will appear as a quote over your text box. An earlier report had suggested that WhatsApp for iOS will also be receiving several new features in the next update. WhatsApp has started rolling out an update to its Android beta testers.
