WhatsApp's killing of old status feature from the app resulted in huge public outcry and the company ultimately had to bring back the old feature. The old status first launched on Android and has finally come to iOS users today. The latest iOS update of WhatsApp which bumps the version up to v2.17.10 brings back the old status feature as About.
