TWO YEARS LATERAfter two years of negotiations, British officials and the European Union agreed on a Withdrawal Agreement. This would mean that after Brexit trade would continue to flow between the north and south until such time as a permanent solution to the border problem could be found. POKER FACESMay is now going back to the EU to try and negotiate a better backstop — except all the senior EU politicians aren’t budging. NO DEAL: THE DREAM SCENARIOUnder the dream scenario, trade continues but under what are known as the World Trade Organization rules. Tariffs and timelines would have to be agreed but it is far from chaos and the Brexiteers also promote that under this scenario Britain can start making trading deals with other nations.
