Swiss police say around 40 people were killed after a blaze broke out at a bar in a luxury ski resort as revellers celebrated the New Year. At a bar called Le Constellation in the luxury Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, in the canton of Valais in southeastern Switzerland. New Year's Eve celebrations were in full swing at the bar at the time of the incident. Support from neighbouring cantons would be needed to identify victims, prosecutor Béatrice Pilloud said at the press conference.
