In squeezing lefty Aroldis Chapman out of the Kansas City Royals, Young acquired perhaps the best arm on the still-developing trade market to plug into a bullpen desperately in need of help. The Rangers hope Chapman joins them Saturday, in time for the second game of their four-game series with the Astros. A Kansas City official said Friday that Chapman had been a good teammate — “very humble” — after signing a one-year, $3.75 million deal over the winter. He wasn’t closing regularly in Kansas City, but was pitching regularly in high-leverage, late-inning situations. The Rangers had tried John King there recently, but that ended when he was sent back to the minors in the wake of the Chapman trade.
