Governors Ali Roba (Mandera) and Salim Mvurya (Kwale) are also serving their last terms. Murang'a Governor Mwngi Wa Iria and Embu's Martin Wambora — the two governors who secured their second terms in Mt Kenya region — have not publicly declared their 2022 ambitions.
