PERMANENT SHORTFALLThe volume of ready-mixed concrete poured in the September quarter was sharply affected by the extended Auckland lockdown. LOCAL PANDEMIC UPDATEIn Australia Delta cases in Victoria have leveled out as 1003 cases were reported there today. In contrast, there were two new cases in New Zealand at the border, and 147 new community cases. The NZX50 is similarly lower near the end of its session here today and down a larger -0.6%. The New Zealand Govt 10 year rate is now at 2.54%, down -1 bp but still above the earlier RBNZ fix for that 10yr rate at 2.51% (-2 bp).
