It does not take her long to reach her workplace at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital (NICRH). When Rozy completed her SSC examinations, she was unsure as to what career to pursue in life. But Rozy persisted, and after her diploma, she joined the Jahurul Islam Nursing Institute as a staff nurse. In 2006, she joined Apollo Hospital in Dhaka for Tk10,000 as a senior staff nurse. “Three things define a nurse – hard work, empathy and diligence.”Today, Rozy works as a senior staff nurse and gets paid on the 10th grade of the National Pay Scale.
