KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama):– The no-smoking ban in food premises imposed by the Health Ministry may have begun at midnight as a new year dawned, but many smokers can be seen flouting it on Jan 1. There were also not many no-smoking signs at these premises reminding the public of the ban. This could be because the ban was new and customers did not realise that it had come into effect today, she said. “We don't feel comfortable reminding them of the ban, especially the people we do not know, but if they are regular customers, we remind them,” she said.
