On April 25, 2017, the National Geographic Channel will debut its first scripted TV series, Genius which takes a look at Einstein's life in a way you might not anticipate. From 1918 through World War II, the world saw the collapse of the Habsburg Empire, birth of modern communism, territory battles and global war. In the series Genius, the journey, from young Einstein (played by Johnny Flynn) to the iconic Einstein the world has come to know, (played by Geoffrey Rush) isn't what you expect. For example, Einstein's first wife, Mileva Marić, played by Samantha Colley, was also a phycisist, while his second wife, Elsa Einstein, played by Emily Watson, was his first cousin.
