Tottenham stars felt that Mauricio Pochettino no longer had the same passion for the job and he therefore lost the support of the dressing room. Pochettino was sacked on Tuesday night following a poor start to the campaign which has seen Spurs slump to 14th place in the Premier League table. According to The Athletic, the last drop occurred when the Argentine lost the support of the dressing room as the players sensed that he did not have the same relish for the job as he did in previous seasons. The team would also start to struggle with the former Southampton boss’ demanding coaching style as some stars have grown older and no longer have the same energy.
