The Walking Dead co-creator Frank Darabont sued AMC over unfair compensation after he was fired in Season 2. In the case of The Walking Dead, however, AMC was effectively negotiating with itself. So what does all this mean for the future of The Walking Dead? It's a show that AMC says could go on indefinitely, and Kirkman's deal with Amazon only includes new IP, not anything Walking Dead related.
