Liverpool have been linked with a summer transfer swoop for Thiago Alacantara with the Bayern Munich star putting contract talks on hold at the Bundesliga side. Jurgen Klopp is a known admirer of the Spaniard and has made many comments on him in the past. Liverpool boss Klopp urged to look at signing player like Chelsea flopThe midfielder has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season but is considering a new challenge. SportBild claim the 29-year-old is waiting to see if Liverpool are interested in his signature as Klopp looks to strengthen even further. Back in February 2019 Bayern held Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield and Klopp was full of praise for the German side and Thiago in particular.
