Jayalalithaa will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss some state issues and seek the Centre’s support. Jayalalithaa returned to office for a second consecutive term in Tamil Nadu, where such a feat had not been achieved in nearly three decades. The last time Jayalalithaa travelled to Delhi was in June 2014, immediately after the Modi government took over.
