Freddie Ljungberg will meet new Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta on Sunday to discuss his future at the club after being informed by the board that they want him to stay. The Swede took trawled up and down the Goodison Park touchline in his last game as Arsenal interim boss on Saturday to witness his young team draw 0-0. “I’ve been told by the club they want me to stay,” Ljungberg said after his final game in charge. “But I will have a meeting with Mikel tomorrow and hopefully it's a good one."
