The Oparanya-Khalwale contest is expected to test the unity of the newly minted National Super Alliance (Nasa) in Kakamega. But Mr Oparanya has accused Mr Wetang’ula of undermining him politically. The governor has also asked Mr Wetang’ula to shelve his presidential ambitions and back ODM leader Raila Odinga.
