Wet welcome with return to workCommuters were caught off guard and many were soaked during morning rush hours as they returned to work yesterday after a long weekend. A woman at Saint Johannes College's primary section in Kowloon Tong carried pupils one by one to avoid a huge puddle. An umbrella in one hand, she navigated the puddle between a school bus and the school gate, so youngsters arrived in class with dry shoes and socks. Pui Ching Primary School in Ho Man Tin also saw students carried into the school after the entrance was flooded. And Kowloon Tong School Primary had a bridge assembled from benches that ran to the entrance from its covered playground.
