Photo: SportsfileWestmeath's Murphy makes cut for cross country internationalMichael Murphy from Kilbeggan has been selected to represent Ireland on the Under-23 team for the Celtic Cross Country International. The Tullamore Harriers athlete will be making his international debut which is a significant achievement. It's a well deserved honour, following on from his outstanding performance at the National Novice Cross Country Championships in Navan, where Michael took the national title early last month. The annual cross country international fixture, which is being held in Renfrew, Scotland this year, will feature U17, U20 and U23 teams.
