The Comets won the Ryse Williams Pacific Shores tournament championship on Saturday night at Redondo, knocking off a talented Santa Margarita team, 64-49. In the championship game of the West Valley tournament, MVP Brandon Williams scored 23 points in Crespi’s 73-60 win over Chaminade. Taj Regans scored 14 points and Kyle Owens 12. University won the Whittier tournament championship with a 73-59 win over Compton Centennial. Gary Harris had 14 points.
