WestJet Flight Circles Vancouver: Not Continuing to Toronto


For nearly two hours, a WestJet flight from Vancouver to Toronto has been circling around its origin point, with the flight not expecting to continue onwards to its destination. WS714 is a routine flight between Vancouver and Toronto, and is being operated by C-GZWS, one of the carrier’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft. As per data from Planespotters.net, C-GZWS is a 18.3 year old airframe that was delivered to WestJet back in June 2005. UPDATE #4 @ 2325 UK time – WestJet flight WS714 is on final approach into Vancouver Airport, having taken the decision not to continue onwards to Toronto.
