Police responded to a call around 3:30 p.m. of “unknown trouble” near the rail tracks at Paton Rd. and Wade Ave., near Lansdowne Ave. and Bloor St. W. in the area of the Junction Triangle. A 16-year-old was rushed to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition after receiving multiple stab wounds, Toronto police say. Police said a second teen was also found at the scene but suffered no injuries. “They were both together, then attacked, stabbed and robbed,” said police, adding that while the second teen and the victim appear to be friends, they’re unsure of his level of involvement.
