West Indies conditions appear to favour SA's traditional seam attack: 'It feels like England'

Proteas bowling coach Charl Langeveldt said the team had the right balance in its attack ahead of the first Test against the West Indies at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium on Thursday. The conditions could force the technical team and Test captain Dean Elgar into a deep think about the first Test attack after taking a squad filled with plenty spin and seam options. Spinners Keshav Maharaj, Tabraiz Shamsi, George Linde and the uncapped Prenelan Subrayen were expected to play a heavy hand in the red ball contest. "I think we have the right balance in four seamers, all probably hoping to play in the first Test. There's a lot of seam movement off the wicket with a Dukes, and it stays harder for longer.
