The Ligue 1 giants are keen on the Hoops star but need to offload some of their big hitters before they can start moving for targets. West Ham are in talks over signing midfielder Sanson, with the fee quoted more than £30million, while the player has also been linked with their Premier League rivals Wolves. Marseille have been trying to offload injury-prone Dutchman Kevin Strootman with no success, although the sale of his midfield team-mate Sanson could give head coach Andre Villas-Boas the funds he needs to rebuild. Porto were at the front of the queue for Ntcham, but they are refusing to meet Celtic’s asking price and could look elsewhere if they can’t agree a fee.
