The Sun obtained footage of Zouma kicking and slapping the cat in his home and the Frenchman has subsequently apologised for his actions. The former Chelsea defender is seen chasing the cat through the house and the cat is clearly distressed. ‘I want to say how deeply sorry I am to anyone who was upset by the video,’ said Zouma. ‘West Ham United unreservedly condemns the actions of our player, Kurt Zouma, in the video that has circulated,’ a statement read.
