Hundreds of West Ham fans protested against the board outside the London Stadium ahead of their clash with Southampton. The supporters, angry at the way the club is being run, congregated outside Stratford station before making their way to the ground. West Ham fans demo march to the stadium. For the match itself West Ham were without striker Javier Hernandez through illness, while defender James Collins missed out with a hamstring injury. Saints, looking to climb out of the relegation zone and dump West Ham in it, were able to welcome back striker Charlie Austin after three months out with a torn hamstring.
