Erin Routliffe will be playing at the West End Cup as she builds up for the summer's ASB Classic. The New Zealand summer of tennis will get underway next weekend in what's become the traditional way, with the West End Cup. On the court some of the country's top players will be in action with a sprinkling of overseas notable names. New Zealand No 1 and Davis Cup stalwart Rubin Statham will be playing in the men's draw, along with the promising Ajeet Rai, who joined Statham in the New Zealand Davis Cup team this year. Also playing in the women's draw is Sara Tomic, sister of Bernard Tomic, who got to No 14 in the world two years ago.
