They have fielded Srijan Bhattacharya, Sujan Chakraborty, Sayan Banerjee, Sabyasachi Bhattacharya in several seats and have successfully pounced on the Hindu votes and helped Trinamool to win in at least 12 seats. In the 2021 assembly polls, they did a similar job and Trinamool won in 56 seats," Adhikari said today. Election petition will have to be filed in court for Diamond Harbour. The model seen in Diamond Harbour is not acceptable.
