West Liquor and Village Wines and Spirits outlets will partially reopen after two armed robberies within two days forced a lockdown. A liquor store chain will reopen some of its stores after armed robberies forced a complete lockdown. All 27 West Liquor and Village Wines and Spirits stores in Auckland were shut down on Monday, after Te Atatu Village Wine and Spirits and West Liquor New Lynn were both robbed over the weekend. The West Liquor stores opening are Glen Eden, Hobsonville, Westgate Centre, Cellar Court, Railside Ave, Village Wines and Spirits at West City Mall and The Trusts Outlet in Mt Albert. It was the second incident the chain suffered that weekend, with an armed robbery at West Liquor New Lynn also taking place.
