Wellington's Egmont St is going under the knife, and should have a completely new face by the start of August. Thomas Woodhall, one of the hairdressers at Boar & Blade, said the new additions to Egmont St would be a welcome sight. It is hoped Wellington City Council's upgrade of the laneway will make it a safer and more attractive pedestrian route. Grass pavers and seating will be also added to the tree edge at the Ghuznee St end.
