This year’s Wellington on a Plate food festival is being billed as a chance to travel around the world and back in time. The theme, Out of Place, was chosen by festival organisers to give the capital’s eateries inspiration for the month-long event which will take place in August. It was also announced that beer festival Beervana will also run on the weekend of August 13-15, with Dine Wellington and Burger Wellington crossing over that weekend. Last year Wellington on a Plate was moved to October, with a 3 per cent increase in ticket sales.
