A Wellington family are still recovering after a 15m Willow tree smashed down on them at the Shotover Jet base in Queenstown in January. They were watching jetboats roar up the Shotover River from a picnic table under a tree that provided shelter from the hot summer sun. That moment was the beginning of a year-long nightmare for the family, who moved to Wellington from India in 2011.
