Top Retail Group managing director Jamie Whiting said at least a couple of hundred people, mostly teenagers were, gathered outside the store when he arrived about 6am. "It's a globally-renowned fashion brand, British-based but plus 500 stores globally. [They're] very well known for their designer collaborations - they've collaborated with Kate Moss, JW Anderson, there's a whole lot of designer collections they do," he said. "They're the only high street fashion brand to show at London Fashion Week so a really well known fashion brand and one we thought would work really well in the New Zealand market."
