Up until now, we would expect a police officer to be dispatched, but that is no longer guaranteed. A Police Scotland scheme in which not every crime was investigated in the north-east is to be rolled out across the country. A SNP-run Scotland in which criminals are cock-a-hoop while our police officers retreat from crime-scarred streets. It’s a topsy-turvy world which makes excuses for cosseted criminals while victims are considered little more than collateral damage. SPF general secretary David Kennedy said the non-investigation policy and falling officer numbers will be “catastrophic for the people of Scotland”.
