Thousands of snow geese swirled over Lake McGregor in southern Alberta on March 27.This video, captured by Leanne Graham, shows the flock of migrating birds moving as a wave over a patch of unfrozen water on the lake bed.Graham told Storyful that the birds stop by “every couple of years” and like to gather near the lake’s bridge to “rest and feed”.“The sound of their wings makes such a roar when they all take off at once,” she added.Naturalist Brian Keating told Canadian public broadcaster CBC, that there has been an influx of snow geese to Alberta as a result of changing migratory patterns.
