In a press statement on Wednesday, Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population reported 365 new coronavirus cases and 12 virus-related deaths. 98 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, bringing the country’s total number of recovered cases to 101,981. Egypt has now reported a total of 114,107 COVID-19 cases, and 6,585 virus-related deaths. Case numbers of the virus in Egypt are steadily creeping up and now resemble figures from the end of July.
