Their romance took Laura Roset and Ken Mohally from Mallow to Moldova and back again. Laura and Ken’s paths first crossed in Mallow in 2013 and four years later they got engaged while they were visiting Laura’s native Moldova. Now based in Mallow, they returned to Moldova in 2017 to tie the knot in Ciuflea church, in Laura’s home city, the capital Chisinau. The newlyweds also held a ceremony in Cork Registry Office in recent weeks and celebrated with a reception in Springfort Hall Hotel in Mallow. The newlyweds posed for acclaimed wedding photographer Fiona Fuller at local historic and scenic spots, including Mallow Castle, as well as at the reception venue.
