A pair of longtime Boston commuters created what they call the "MBTA excuse generator." One recent faux alert about the Green Line read: "Severe residual delays due to an earlier Tom Brady suspension hearing at Reservoir. An MBTA spokesman tells The Boston Globe that the agency welcomes "constructive comments and suggestions" on its website. He says the agency remains focused on improving aging infrastructure and providing safe and reliable service.
