The Kenya Met Department has released its weather forecast report for the next seven days. In the forecast starting July 2 to July 8, the weatherman warned of cold conditions in the central highlands, western Kenya, south-eastern lowlands, and the Rift Valley. Kenya Met disclosed that average night-time temperatures are likely to go below 10°C in some parts of the central highlands and the Rift Valley. "Intermittent cold and cloudy conditions are expected in parts of the central highlands, western Kenya, south-eastern lowlands, and the Rift Valley. In the last forecast, the Met Department disclosed that rainfall was recorded in a few stations in the highlands west of the Rift Valley and the coast.
